Within the framework of the Dülmen Local History Society A specialist group was formed for Family research It's been set up. We meet every two months in the form of an informal get-together.

The offer is aimed at people of all ages, with or without experience in genealogy.
Researching one's ancestors is an important part of local history research and preservation.
Experienced genealogists are available as consultants if needed.
We are delighted by the many people who are interested and have already taken the first steps in exploring their roots.
They have and expect an insightful exchange of experiences, regardless of whether they are native Dülmen residents or "newcomers". After all, even centuries ago, people traveled far and wide to find work, business, or shelter.

Then the peace and quiet here will be over!
... but that's only one day in the year, then the horses are left to their own devices again.
Dülmen loves its wild horses, and so do many visitors!
